The GReddy is practically the same as the ZPI, as they use a turbo that's only like .10 of a difference apart. I have heard of people having a little trouble with the pretune that comes with the GReedy kit, so make sure you for sure get a tune on it before doing ANYTHING driving wise. The differences are pretty much in the turbo, and the mainfold.

ZPI = external WG + Big EVO III 16G

GReddy = internal WG + 18G

Talking about vs The Stage1 correct?
The Greddy options come with 440 though dont they, and the ZPI is 550?

Do you suppose that if you get the greddy kit and use a map from ZPI it might work better, or is it the same map??? If you use greddy with the bigger injectors and the ZPI map i imagine u prolly have a better prefroming base map no? any input?

Agreed the ZPI Stage 1 and Greddy Kit are very comparable. Its also what you can afford at the current moment.

No, GReedy and ZPI do not use the same maps. And your right, ZPI uses 550cc injectors which are now straight drop in injectors. It's possible that you can use a map from Kenny, but getting him to send you one for a competing product is the question...lol. He's a good guy though, and has fixed countless other competing turbo kits, so just give ZPI a call and talk to him. I have yet to see a GReedy kit perform, even among the people who have purchased from them. So, I can't vouch to say it will perform just as good as ZPI's albeit GReedy uses a similar turbo. The proof is in performance, not specs. At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself, "Which kit is actually showing real world performance?"

I know there have been many Greddy supporters here.....but........does anyone have one installed? If so can anyone give some feedback as to how it performs? The ZPI kits.....well it wont be hard at all to see how they perform, there are videos, and dyno numbers all over the place for there kits.......OH and then there is this Travis guy^^^.......lets see he has beaten just about everyone under the sun with his kit went through 2 clutches, races every weekend, and the thing still runs strong and without any glitches or engine troubles......hmmmm.........Seems to me ZPI is doing something right!!

Again this is only my opinion since I have yet to see any real results or numbers from the other kits.

Sure, there are a few guys running greddy kits out there but i have yet to see any numbers. Im just concerned b/c ive heard that theres alot of issues with the greddy map. Also im not a fan of internal wastegares either... but at the end of the day im looking to get the most bang for my buck.

And Travis thnx for the input.

^ Agreed.... The amount of innovation in the F/I market from ZPI and just the sheer volume of information and numbers/support out there for the ZPI kit says alot IMHO...

I ran a stage 0 out of the box and almost straight onto a track without an issue at all last week, with a simple and solid install... I wouldn't suggest doing that with a GReddy kit and even other GReddy owners agree that getting the map tweaked is the only way to go for that kit ....

Add stage one components to the ZPI and it's even more of a monster...

The External WG makes the Kit a BEAST too.... Quiet at idle, but lay into it...WATCH OUT!

The Greddy kit is a good kit and should not be downed. The turbos are very similar I think they flow just about the same and use essentially the same components. The big 16G and the 18G are a lot alike and you will see spool time and power output very similar. The Greddy kit uses RC 440 we use our own 550cc we both use emanage etc….

Everyone else has plugged about our kit so I will assume you have all the info you need.  If you need something more specific please do not hesitate to call or AIM me.

I obviously want you to see you buy our kit but I do not think you can go wrong with either kit. If you do go Greddy any of our turbo and down pipe upgrades in the future will fit it.

Good luck!!!

-Kenny
