ZPI kit owners out there????
I am dealing with ZPI about getting a pre-tapped oil pan for my Stage 1.5 kit. I dealt with them in emails and they said I get one with the kit.
Now I talked to Sean, and he says that I don't get the pan.
Can you guys let me know when you got your kit, and if you got a pre tapped pan through ZPI????
Thanks-Scott

AIM is probably the most effective way of getting ahold of them, trust me. I can't help you with your question, as I drove to the shop and had the work done. But Pre-tapped oil pan is no longer in their listing on the website.

I called ZPI and talked to Sean direct. The thing I am mad about is that someone emailed me saying that you do get the oil pan with the kit 2 1/2 weeks ago. Not sure if this was to get me to go with the kit or what???

But yeah, that's a common occurence in any line of work, when you talk to one person, and then someone else. Stick with talking to Sean, as he is in charge of Shipping. He has AIM also.

I would think that ZPI is a small enough company that they would have the parts you get with the kits correct.

I'm not sure if I follow you correctly. But just keep in mind that they do have "drop shipping". Which means that your WG may come from a separate place than your manifold and vice versa. They don't assemble EVERY thing in house and box it up to send out. That's not efficient enough. Sometimes you may have everything come straight from their shop, and I've seen in some cases the part could come from one of disstributors (like the WG or something).

Not correctly on this. Let me see if I can say it better...
See, I emailed them direct and asked if the stage 1.5 came with the pre-tapped pan. I got an email back from ZPI saying yes it did. Now Sean is saying that the kit doesn't come with it.
So, it wouldn't really matter where the pan is coming from. It's more them going back on their word of what the kit comes with.

Could have been just a hindsight, as they Use to offer one. Like when someone has a promotion going on, and an associate tells you, "yeah you can still get the deal", and then you get there and find out the associate made a mistake, and the promotion ended yesterday...

im also thinking about getting a stage 0, but now that i found out that the pre-tapped oil pan does not include with the kit, im thinking twice about it... i hope that they lower the price too, because they took out something that made it a true "bolt-ON" kit... please zpi do something about it... please...

Your Kiddin right?
Stage 0 is the cheapest RELIABLE kit you can get on the market...and you would turn it down because of a pre-tapped Oil pan....
It's not that hard to have your OWN oil pan tapped. Take it to a shop, maybe cost you like $20 bucks at most or something.
