Kenny is like the guy in Good Will Hunting he waits around after hours and builds, and tunes peoples cars.....then puts turbo designs on there desks......then on the side he picks up the phones and fields technical questions.....all under the guise of a Janitor!!!!

And let me guess, you went Dezod (hence by the plug in your sig), just because you couldn't get an oil pan...

Gotta love the snide remarks. A ZPI thread wouldn't be complete without at least one person trying to make negative implications.....
Not making snide remarks, simply stating facts as I've experienced them. I have no turbo at this moment, I'm building my own piece by piece. Drilling a pan is not difficult. I chose not to go with a bolt on/out of the box product, k thx...

Not trying to imply anything negative.. but the guy was waiting a long time for his kit and that is simply excessive.. I was telling him don't waste your time waiting on a pre-drilled pan when it's very easy to drill and put a fitment in on your own. This should not be a show stopper. In fact an oil pan should be the last of your worries if you are boosting.. anyways.. carry on...

The "plug" in my signature are for companies with whom I've completed successful business with, and I believe in their customer service.

Yeah, well, this is what my completed business/customer service.....AND bolt on/out of the box product does for me.....

I want to have a stock one to go back to stock

You can buy a cap to plug it up. It is just simple plumbing parts. Are you planning to sell the whole turbo kit later?? Or is this so you can pass emissions later??

To have more fun then most in a tC!!!!

I figure if I start popping some kids out and the wife gets on my case about having a 2 seat tC, when we need a big SUV. I can probably sell the kit and recoupe some funds, but still have a car for a few years that is what I want.

Considering you get d ick back from a dealer for aftermarket parts, and good luck getting more then blue book in my area for a used supped up tC

Not sure you could recoupe much from a used tC turbo kit though.....

I can recoupe maybe 50% percent or more on Scionlife of a $5000 kit, which at a dealership I would get 0% of the value.

It's still something more then nothing at the dealership.

A stage 0 is completely different then a Stage 1.5. People waste their money on superchargers all the time on SL for the tC. Getting a used $5000 kit for $2000-3000 is a good deal for a lot of people. I don't think I would really have a problem selling it on here since I take care of my car, and the after market parts I put in to it.

This thread didn't turn out the way I had intended to. I really just wanted to know who got the pan, and who didn't.

then it just went out of control.
