Default ZPI kit question

So i know that ZPI is discontinued and all that but i was just wondering whats the biggest size turbo like 16g,18g,20g you can go and still be safe with your stock injectors and whats the most psi you can run? im guessing its only like 5-7 psi and 7 being on the very edge of having to change injectors?? Also do you have to have an engine management with this kit or isnt it if you run like 5 psi you dont need one? I have searched all over really and havent beenable to find my answers fully..Dont worry ive already made my turbo kit!! lol

No comment. If you really searched you would have found the answers. Stay with 16g with stock injectors with no management on 5psi.

oh what the heck just slap a t88 and boost pressure to about 26-28psi (keep it under 30psi for safety) youll be allset as long as you have the trd ecu flash =P

Well its been 3 years since my tc has been on boost with stock injectors and stock ecu, 6psi daily driven. so 6psi you should be fine.

What exactly is your setup? Are you running it with or without an intercooler, etc?

actually we should make this the new official zpi thread since the old one is half about how zpi went down and how kenny screwed everyone...lets just keep this kenny free to help members who are digging up these kits and have questions. finding info on the old thread past the first page is nuts lol. I gave up on finding my charger and decided to buy a dslr within the next week so ill get some pics up of my kit for those who are still stumped on IC pipes.

Definitely - I can't find the post but I recall ScionDad finding the intake temps were reaching 170-180 degrees F back in the day.

Speaking of which How are most of you ZPI guys clocking the 16g for intercooler connection? I heard straight down it faces the block and transmission so some use a J-pipe and keep it clocked straight up. Others clock the outlet forward and switch to slim fans to make space. Any tried and true methods on this? I'm thinking of getting the Dezod pipes but this missing link has me concerned.
