Default ZPI Stage 0 A/T Kit Dyno

Well the bad news is I had some crazy fitment issues with my kit, mostly intercooler piping, good news is...got it fixed..got to drive a Skyline GTR and got to do some serious tunning!....And the results are.....mind you this is on a VERY conservative tune...(its my daily driver with 28k already on it).....Max HP:228.48 Max Torque: 216.90..I believe the highest I got was 232 hp...anywho heres the dyno pic...

Mad Props to all the guys at GSC motorsports in Charleston SC, they stayed late last night, and stayed until 1:15 this morning tunning my car..Super nice guys with some wicked rides..

Not bad.

So this is a tuned Stage 0? Any #'s before you got it "tuned"

Stage 0 does not come with intercooler. Maybe it's a stage 0 with intercooler and management upgrade.

Clay did you swap out the wastegate spring to the red one? The Stage 0 comes with the gold 9PSI spring inside the wastegate you have to open it up and swap it out with the tial red 6 PSI spring.

That's nearly an Automatic Stage 1 kit then, if you have the FMIC, Manage, and injectors. How much boost are you running....Good Job, and Good #'s for an Auto by the way.

That's how my tQ is also on my ZPI Stage 1, never drops anywhere.

.... I think that is a S1 kit just with the boost turned down - what's missing? BOV?

good call. No power to be had from it, but I think that's the only thing different.

See that was confusing me last night... The kit is advertised at 6 psi....but all last night we were recording 10 psi at WOT So I don't know...I just got home after a three hour drive and I'm still have some serious vibration problems that I have to fix, and I'm going to weld a dump tube to the downpipe so i dont sound and smell like ___ when i floor it lol. I decided after talking a good bit with the shop I was tunning at that I'm going to do a A/T to 5 speed swap, go back and get some custom GSC turbo Cams, and probably upgrade to a bigger turbo later on in january, I'll be honest and say im scared sh!tless driving the tC now that its boosted, just because its A/T...Off topic but Good News!!! GSC is going to use my car to create new harness bars for seatbelt harnesses...Hopefully by feb. or March they will start producing them and selling them at killertc.com..and I get a free one lol.

Did you not replace the spring that was in the external wastegate? I believe it came with a 10psi spring that had to be replaced with a 6psi one if you had a stage 0. Of course, if you're running 10psi now I'd probably think about getting that HKS super sequential BOV sometime soon.

Then you pretty much have the S1 kit - just get a boost controller and bump up the boost just a little and our setups would be pretty much the same.

You didn't put the 6 PSI spring in. You need to change that out, as your A/T is not going to last to many 10 PSI WOT runs. Do you have a Tranny cooler?

I guess he's probably right - I don't know much about turbo'd A/T systems but I imagine it's hard on your tranny unless you reinforce that.

(And yea, after Miami trip I figured my avatar was due for a change.)
