the immobilizer is just the ring around the ignition switch, all the connector plugs are the same, so it wouldn't be that hard to remove the column and swap out rings.

Its not the ring thats the problem. They have a serperate immobilizer ecu that stores the codes from the keys. So basically you would need one of those that is flashed for that cars keys and the new ecu. Then you could just swap the two out. Although its a PITA to get to it under the dash. Otherwise the car will see a non-vin coded ecu and think you are trying to steal the car and lock it out. Happened to me.

You got caught tryin to steal your own car
I say they just try it, Im sure you can somehow reset the reflash, theres gotta be a way. I will talk to one of my techs today and see whats necessary to erase the reflash. If it works out, you guys could have people send in their ecu and you guys could flash it as part of the kit...only problem I see with that is Toyota may get a lil mad if they find out about it.

the ECU reflash can only be removed once. We can reflash with just an ecu with out the vehicle.

I got lost in the discussion... From nice pics of ScionDad's turbo, to a 11s Civic, to ECU reflash. Anyways good luck to all...

Im considering a kit as well. Would a good tune be in order after an install of one of these Stage 0's?

i thought the ZPI stg 0 had no fuel or ignition management? i was under the impression all adjustments were left to the stock ecu? is this correct?

^^That is correct, except you have th option of adding that stuff. Which is what I plan on doing. IC, and E-manage as options. And then later upgrade to the 550cc jects.

You should just do everything at once...if your gonna get the IC and Emanage then why not just get the injectors too..its not gonna be that much more money and you can have everything fine tuned all at once instead of wasting money going back and forth to the dyno

Yes Sir, spend time with friends and ride the theme park rides (12sec Scions tC's). Gives me enough to keep my sanity and not go crazy because we are not boosted yet. But we will get our time to shine.
