ZPI Stage 0 Turbo: How Good Is It?

ZPI Stage 0 Turbo: How Good Is It?
When I first opened mt tc's hood at the dealership I thought "that hole definitely needs a turbo." Later, I decided not enough traction for turbo. Now, I'm thinking seriously about installing a ZPI stage 0.
Everyone using these:
How many miles do you have on them?
Have you had any problems (clutch, idleing,or other) since installing it?
Are these junk, aight, or the ****?
REVIEWS PLEASE
Is the ZPI the way to go?

I havnet had any issues with mine...its been in for about 3 days now...there is a bit of an idling issue but its getting fixed tonight with 1 step colder spark plugs. On a scale of 1-10 on how good ill rate it a 8.5.....traction hasnt really been an issue yet. If you have a m/t you dont need a ne clutch until you get the stage 1 so a stage 0 you will be fine. and where in texas are you??

I am also highly interested in the ZPI Stage 0.
200+horsepower is good enough for me.
Questions:
Being that its not a high boosting turbo wouldn't it spool alot faster?
Will it wear down the engine faster?
How long is the break in process?

Yes, it will wear you engine out faster.....because you will be hooked on the power and live a boosted life...it will also get you more tickets.
Seriously tho, this small boost is proven to be minimum impact...as long as it's well cared for and not rode hard and put away wet. Read this thread . Fantastic.

Break in process is about 10 minutes. Mainly to recheck all connections, oil flow/leaks, etc. Then cruise.

I am also interested in f/I. So far looking at either the TRD supercharger and ZPI pulley for extra HP. Or the ZPI stage 0, but I heard that the check engine light may come on. Anyone have problems with that, and if so...what can you do to fix this problem????

yeah.that's the only thing im kind of worried about...engine wear and tear
of course it will happen after a while of owning the car but with the turbo how fast will the engine...die/degrade/stop functioning

Stage 0 Owners The point of this thread was really to find out what extra expenses could arise from this kit. Autometer pyrometer + boost gauges are around $160 each. Wideband O2 is even higher. Not everyone has unlimitied funds to throw at problems when they come up. Or extra cars to drive while their tc is down. I believe some of these younger guys watchin this thread need this info as well.

In addition to the base kit, it really depends on what you want to do as for costs.
A boost gauge is a must have
An AFR wideband DEDICATED is very nice and runs around $300
A vacuum manifold $20
Have the exhaust manifold coated with Jet-Hot $120
EGT gauge is nice
Oil pressure
Oil temp
Copper wastegate gaskets $20
Fully synthetic oil
Premium fuel from then on
1 step colder plugs
In all, I would say an additional $500 to $1000 in addition to the turbo kit will make for a very good looking, strong and reliable ride. The gauges really help with the piece of mind to see what's going on. Clogged fuel injectors, vacuum leak, etc can really be bad to not see it happen.
