ZPI Stage 1 vs Stage 0 vs N/A'ed *UPDATED 4/3/07*
#21
so maybe if a 14.3 is possible with a pulley/header ( and the right temps, driver, etc ), then perhaps one could crack into the 13's with an lsd improving traction? Just trying to get some ideas on what we want to do with our car, and how we want to go about doing it. thx

yeah, i saw that as well. If we can get ours into the 13 sec range, then we'd be happy ( for awhile anyways ). I'm trying to find some middle ground as it is the wife's ride--something that she is comfortable driving with on a daily basis, and something that I can re-live some of my old glory days when i get custody of the car..... though to truly match those 12 sec pinto times... and 10.7 sec Camaro times.... i'd need to add... oh never mind, she'll put the stop to that right away.

14.3 has been the fastest from a S/C'er, and that's with Methanol/water injection + a bunch of bolt-ons
Where is Jeremy's thread? Maybe I missed it. The Meth kit came from the recent thread created by madigan923
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=173279
Either way...14.3 still fastest from a S/C'er with modifications on it.

I quoted you in the thread you are talking about. He is not on a stock pulley. You misread him. His profile says he is running a 9 PSI pulley from ZPI.

The car was down that day...all because of a freaking OIL FITTING on the turbos return line. I tried to tighten it up because it had a small leak. Well, I did not realize that the line was actually not sitting flushed on the fitting. So it was stripped, and I searched ALL day that day to find a fitting....two problems:
1) It was Saturday
2) It was Saturday!
No shops were open and the only shop that was, was 45 mins away. And they didn't have any AN fittings in the size I needed.
But I got it done that Monday, and went to the 1/4 track the following Tues. Got vids I still need to upload, including the Stage 0 and it's performance in a 1/4 mile race.

You sir, are a smart man...
Yeah mostly mid 14's (thats on street tires that is), so I could see a low 14 if you have a good driver with some good rubber.

^^I'm trying to put pressure on everyone to take it to the track and lay down the times. It's been way to long, and no one is tracking their setups except for a select few. Time for all F/I people to get a consensus on what to expect out of particular setups they choose.

Awesome vids man. I cant wait to get mine to the track. Mine is out of commission right now thou, I had a major malfunction on the way home from ZPI the day of my install, so my car is at ZPI right now. I'm hoping like hell Kenny gets me took care of and gives me a call today

Yeah, I am working on that. I have a mini security camera that can feed into a laptop computer, but the quality of the Mini cam is not as good as the Sony obviously. So, I'm must going to opt for some type of video mount, or make a makeshift one to mount the Sony in the car. Would be easy if I had stock seats, as I could just use the head rest to wedge the camera in between. But stock seats are sitting in the house...
