they engines are stronger than hell (400+ whp daily on a stock everything block with ease?!) but like nut said, the 1 and 2 gears dont like the gobs of torque the engine makes. those srt-4's at that boost level (if its the stock turbo) are making anywhere between 250-300whp depending on supporting mods, tuning, etc.

guy in the car club I'm in has Stage 3 SRT-4 on 25psi. He did a full circle burnout, with the rear tires doing the circles, it was pretty sweet. But as soon as my kit is on (this year i hope *cough* Sound Performance *cough*) I think I'll have no problem taking him.

ohhhh i know about that... its that cool little button you can push that ups the tune for 100 octane... and it has the little water mister button for the intercooler on it too... Haha i was kickin around the idea of gettin an SRT4 for a while, i know a decent amount about those cars, father in law is a parts supervisor at a local dealership so that helpsa bit too lol

brake boost-
hold brakes, compensate with extra gas to maintain the same speed. this adds load onto the engine and as such, creates boost. release brakes and go WOT when the race starts.
cures the turbo lag issue.
