Default ZPI turbo kit-Take 2

Well since my last post(same topic) got locked, I thought I'd provide some kind of update on the whole estimated wait time issue. I just emailed racingsolution.com to ask about my order status and they told me that my kit was done, but was just waiting on the turbo which should be in on the 2nd. I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement.

Sweet.

Now, before all the others get on here and trash this thread....DON'T.

If someone has a gripe with ZPI (or any vendor)...take it up with them. Stop thread hijacking. If you get no resolution...then post YOUR EXPERIENCE allowing ZPI (or any vendor) to give THEIR side of the story. There is a SHOP EXPERIENCE section you know.

Every vendor on this forum asks for the same respect. ZPI is one that has worked very hard for our community and has earned it.

That's funny, that you mention. After I posted about how long people waited for their kits, I didn't get on here for a day, and when I did I was like uhh what the hell. First topic I've posted that got locked. I just posted to see what people's wait time was and it got into this whole big mess about credibility and blah blah blah. So it's cool that my kit's done.Props to ZPI and RacingSolution

We will be shipping more kits out as soon as we get more turbochargers in our hot little hands.

Our vendor says they will be back in stock Decemeber 1st. Provided they actually have them to fill our pending order, we hope they will ship to us same day. As soon as we get this stuff in stock, we'll assemble the kits, pack them and ship them out.

I'm working on streamlining the turbo kit packing process. Likely I'm going to have to go to a double person check list, to make sure I don't screw up and forget to send something.

We shipped 2 batches of kits in the month of November, but this turbo shortage is killing us. I hope to ship a lot of kits this next month and have a lot of happy tC's at Christmas time.

EDIT: oops, logged in as Joey..

I'll throw in my .02.. As a vendor.. I've done a lot of business with ZPI. THey have provided me with outstanding customer service and timely shipping. I think in this instance they tapped a market that had a huge demand and got overwhelmed.. This is how businesses grow and they are getting back on their feet. I am sure they will follow through on everything.

ETA's. Been there!

I suggest folks check out the vendor forum then.

Good luck to you when you do receive the kit. We are all anxiously waiting also!

I don't know for sure, call me naive or whatever, but I have faith that racingsolution and zpi are being honest with me. They only told me that my kit is done and like zpi said they are waiting on the turbos for hopefully a same day shipment.
