I guess they are going to be running NASA TT with this car? If they are, they have made some questionable cage design choices. It really doesn't even appear to conform to the rules with the bends on the rear braces coming off the main hoop unless they went to the tube size/wall thickness for the next higher weight class. The bends make the tube less stiff, and puts them into bending instead of compression when loaded. It doesn't have all the tubes you are allowed to have (with out a handicap penalty) that actually do something for chassis stiffness. NASA TT rules only allow 6 cage mounting points with out penalty. I can only see 8 of the 10 mounting points in those photo's, and the extra 2 that I can see at the back of the car seem to be pretty ineffective. Chassis stiffness only matters between the front and rear suspension. And I doubt that it adds to the safety as it interferes with letting the rear body work crumple to absorb energy in a crash.

sorry man we have been busy and leaving the FM beast in her cave. We do have our roof, suspension, sways, end lnks, engine is done. We have tC here from all over and now xBs and the shop is booked through Nov 15th we try to mess with it here and there but it is a low priority at this point. We will be tracking the black tC in a road course on the 15th

The guys and gals have be SUUUUUPPPPEEEERRRR! busy with new projects and customers that I doubt anything of significance has changed since the last post. For example, if you swing over to there blog site, you will find that Flat Blue Subie that was on the front cover of like Super Street mag (I forget which one exactly, but I have the mag somewhere upstairs) sitting at their shop to have work done.
