i previously owned the avn6600 and loved it. I recently ordered the 6610 with the bluetooth and sirius nav traffic. Its a since to connect. But if you dont feel comfortable eclipse is offering a 200 dollar rebate if you have it professionally installed check their website.

thanks for the rebate update. the authorized dealer did give me the rebate form. i have heard lot of people talking about pioneer nav system and how they are better than eclipse. i saw AVIC- D3 and liked it alot. but had only 1 dvd slot. and then i saw Z2 but that one had hard drive which i really dont need. i got my ipod and mostly i play my music thru ipod. im from NY and i like what eclipse had to offer. CITY MAP. they have detailed NYc maps which i liked. im looking forward to see some pictures once ur done installing ur 6610.

I have the 2454 and I love it. It doesn't have the updated maps, but this thing has still guided me so much.

Eclipse is a plug n play (correct if I am wrong) since their pins match up to our stock ones so you wouldn't need any wiring. The sub would be easy, all you have to do is plug in the back of the HU then run the wires by just pulling the carpet and panel a little loose. Save the money and do it yourself. Everyone has to start somewhere, no one is a pro their first time.

its awesome. i called couple of my friends and received many calls today while i was driving back home. no problem at all. they can hear my voice very clearly and same with me. i luv PARROT bluetooth.

funny story. when i went to pick up my car, the install guys were playing with bluetooth. they were having hard time figuring out the voice dial. i go there n turn my SONY ERICSSON K800 bluetooth on and instantly i was paired. All i have to say once im in my car is PHONE and there is short beep, then i say the name of my contact and it picks up instantly. Even i tired sitting on the passenger side. There was no problem at all.

Used to have an original basslink. For what it is, it is definitly not bad. Its comparable to the stock Bazooka, only sounds alot better. Not to bad.
