This makes me happy inside
Very impressive work!

Although I've got an automatic so center RPM is pretty useless to me

Nice write up man. You did a great job. Now lets see how many people tackle this and Do it themselves. This seems easy to do but Im not sure if i want the Tach in the middle. we'll see.

Ya it would be cool if you made designs for people who dont race and wouldnt want the tac in the center.

he does... we all do (those of us who swap leds)... you just mod the colors to your liking and order custom gauge faces.

I can design the gauge face with speedo in middle no problem.
You have to race to have tach in the center....
Since I drive manual, it's good to have the tach in the middle and bigger...
I look at the tach more then speedo.....

I'll be making a new thread with all the custom gauge face... stock layout and center tach layout....
Since it's custom made to order, so any design layout is possible... (except OEM stock gauge face replica, that is just too difficult to replicate)

is this gonna affect the rev limiter at all? since the needle has to travel farther than it did before?

I would be interested in what I could get your faces for, one set and possibly as a distributor at some point (to go with gauge swaps I do) . I may be doing all custom gauge lighting on our 4Runner as well and may want to get a set of custom faces made for it if you are interested in doing different cars.
