I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm used to that term being used for something that is not done the correct or professional way. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Yeah don't jump on his back for saying "Afro Engineering" compared to the real term he was extremely polite. I don't use it but the real term is actually N****r Rigging. Now THAT is racist and rude.

This is what I thoght was rude, as if to say blacks do stuff cheap and half ___. Yeah the ghetto way is the shortcut way, BUT the ghetto way also works (really well).

why not use a milk crate... even cheaper.

and steal some rope from teh local home depot that they use to tie junk down.

not really steal, you know what i mean.

that would be even cheaper.

I use a duffel back and pushed it against the side. Doesn't really slide much. Cosidered what you're doing myself though since I wanted to use to fasteners in the trunk for something. Might I suggest using a darker color crate and tie as to make it stand out less.

I've got some stuff in my trunk (jumper cables, ice scraper, etc. It won't fit under the cover by the spare, which was my first thought, so I put it in a little sport bag (like a mini-duffel bag) and used a carribeener (sp?) to attach it to one of the tie downs by the sub. Works pretty good. Keeps everything together and keeps it from all sliding out - I've got the cargo mat and it's pretty slick.

I have one of these:

http://www.caselogic.com/trunk_organ...?modelid=57192

It's actually quite a bit larger than the pic makes it look. It velcros to the floor to, so it's not sliding around or anything. I didn't pay quite that much for it though.

I've got a gym bag that I've got a wrench or two, jumper cables, a blanket, and a duster in. It's got a ring on one side that I've got clipped to one of the D rings by the rear of the seat to keep it in place. I'm not sure it's perfect but it works pretty good. The cargo pack that McGeorge sells looks pretty good, but it's hard to tell the size. Plus I don't know if it would just slide around or what. I'll probably stick iwth my solution for now. It's all stuff that I don't have to take out all the time so the fact that it's zipped closed is a good thing, not a hassle.
