I'm planning on using these for my project

Lillput touchscreen for $250 or $190 for a Super 7 touchscreen

Mini ITX Motherboard with built in 64mb graphic + mobile Athlon 2800 for $79.98

1gb ram $50

spare 160gb - FREE

M2-ATX 160w car powersupply - $89

and other spare part i have left from my old desktop dvd, usb hubs, extention etc...

what do you think of my setup will the M2-ATX be strong enough to power all the equipment???
no hu , m2-atx should be fine with that setup, is that 2.5" or 3.5" drive though?

calabasas, ca* ;-)

also, yes, you just put a dvd-cd drive in the front and run a rounded IDE cable to the back of your car where the computer is...

i put mine next to the spare tire so it's hidden away, looks cleaner like that

Welcome to the world of car pc. There is no feeling like it. I dont think I'll ever have a car without a pc, unless it comes with one. Good Job, very pro looking. Now we need to see some specs of the pc.

Awesome!

Although it does look like you have some light leakage on the right side of the screen, or maybe it's just the camera angle.

Also, I have heard that glare is a problematic during the day time. How is this for you. Any pics during the day?

Default good job

looks like a great job, I’ve been thinking of doing a PC in my XB but im gonna wait till after x-mas.

My brother put a PC in his Nissan 350z and its awesome.
He has some tech install pages up here that people might be able to use for help on their own project.
