2009 tC Computer
I'm building a car computer in my 09 tC. A 7" LCD Monitor will replace the stock headunit, the audio handled by a 4-channel amplifier, and the computer sitting in the spare tire.
I'm using the metra wire harness, and connected all wires except for the dimmer power/ground and the power antenna wires.
However, two problems came up: my stock subwoofer has no output, and my HD radio unit's reception sucks. I can get about 1-2 FM stations, but no AM stations whatsoever.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

for your HD radio you are going to need to get a signal amplifier and i would just run the subwoofer to your 4 channel amp. if you are having problems with the computer not putting out sub then make sure that your equalizer settings are up to par for automotive speakers as they run at different impedance than standard computer speakers. just curious what carpc are you running and what front end are you utilizing?

I read somewhere that the stock sub is in-line with the front channels. All four channels have been wired. It seems I just gotta figure out what causes it to turn on.
I also read that the power antenna wire is also the antenna amplifier wire. If this is the case, can I connect it to the accessory line?
The PC's an intel d945gclf2 in a mo-co-so case, running centrafuse 2 (centrafuse 3 is still has some bugs imo) in nLite'd Windows XP SP3.
