not to threadjack, but domo if you want to do push start, there's a thread somewhere on here where tc's have changed their cig lighter into one
and steering wheel looks good. is the center on the 'personol' actually functional to hook horn up to?

no its fine, I dont care about having a push start when you still have to place the key in the ignition, its just I thought his button was very nicely done.
My brother use to have a Nardi steering wheel in his GSR, the horn worked perfectly.

no, it just has a transponder in it like most new cars. the chip in the key needs to be close enough to the chip in the car to send a signal or the car wont start. as long as the key is somewhere in the car, the signal should be strong enough.

I have works bell short hub and it comes with auto-turn signal canceling feature so it works like oem. Some NRG hubs can be modified to have this feature too but I remember my friend saying it might not work on our cars.
I don't really like WB's old school looking hub but auto-turn signal canceling feature is so awesome especially if you have a deep corn style steering wheel+QR+hub like me. It's like 8inches from the steering to the turn signal ****. haha
EDIT: oh well, I just saw Luc1f3r's cruise control mod so I guess you can keep CC, too. LOL

the key needs to be right next to the cylinder in order for the vehicle to start and remain running.

exactly. If you have a remote starter all ready installed then you can use a white/blue wire in there. Or some people cut the factory starter wire by the key side. So when you turn the key all the way it wont start, then they have the push button to start it. And I have seen one person actually move the sensor into his cup holder so the key needs to be in the cup holder to start. Its the same concept when I do remote starts in cars with bypass modules.
