I've got it in mine, it fits fine only thing is that there will be little gaps on the sides, you should be able to get an install kit for a couple bucks that will cover them up, or you could probably just make something.

thanks for the quick reply.

Everything good in with it? No problem?

Can you still close your door?

yeah it works great, I had to play with the bracket a little to get it to sit where I wanted but yeah, the door opens and closes fine,

one other thing to think about is some of the additional modules you might need/want, for example alpine has some crazy safety thing so you can't watch videos unless you pump the brake pull the ebrake, stand on your head, whatever else, I put in a trigger module to bypass that, also got a module to tap into the factory steering wheel controls, oh, and the Ipod tap is quick as hell, but there are a ton of things you can add on, just some stuff to think about

I should have my IVA-W200 on Tuesday and I will post with my initial impressions. For now it will just be the head, no bypass module or steering wheel control module, those will come later. Also, none of the rest of my system will be upgraded. Still need to pic tweets and midbass, get a custom box made and buy some amps and a processor.

honestly I bought everything from a local stereo shop, I can't remember off the top of my head what brand made the trigger module and the steering wheel adapter, but I know it wasn't Alpine, I'll try to find something but I don't know how much packaging/instruction stuff I hung on to after we installed everything

Default bypass

Which one is better. the Black Box or the PAC Tr-7? If anyone has pictures on how to bypass the Alpine IVA-W200 please post them. Thanks

TR7 is better by a mile...

you can get them on ebay for like 15-25 bucks... if you dont want to go that route... you can put two switches on the ebrake and foot brake... just switch the foot brake to 12V and the ebrake to ground... you can get the little black toggles at a autozone to similar autoparts store for around a dollar a piece...
