just placed order as well. heads up - if you order along with the hd tuner, you'll get the tuner for $139 (regualr price $199) PLUS an additional $40 mail in rebate.

I think this is obvious, but it says it doesn't fit our car, that shouldn't be a problem right?

I'm gonna take it to a shop because I also need my components put in plus two amps and all the wiring. I'd rather have a professional take my car apart.

damn more and more people are going with the alpine but im still dead set on getting the D3. I guess cause the navi is awesome... even if you have to leave the disc in there. But good luck with everyone getting the alpine (or pioneer) its a lot of fun and very addictive!! Post pics whenever someone gets it!

i just installed the D3 the other day - so far i love it. Have not had too much time to play around with it....finals

i still have to install my kappa component system....

fastandcurious - lemme know how u like the 205 cuz im not opposed to selling the D3 in the future....HD radio would be awesome plus the mobility of the blackbird (once it comes out)

^ fo sho. i should have it delivered and installed by next weekend. as an ex w200 owner, i can already tell you these decks are awesome. i only switched to the w205 because of the hd multicasting capability which the previous lacked, as well as the integrated dock. anywho, i will post pics and let you know if it lived up to the hype.

I love my D3. The only thing that I don't like about it is the lack of a nav slot, but it isn't a huge deal to swap disk when putting in a destination.

I installed my D3 two days ago and pretty easy, I'm really happy with it. I'm just wondering if there a way to add more Internal memory. that would be cool if we could add more memory

I had the W200 and now have the D3. I like both, but the Pioneer just gives you more for the money. The one thing I do really like about the Alpine is you can add the processor for full crossover, time alignment and EQ where the Pioneer you are stuck with what it has built in or you can go a stereo AC EQ, which tend to be noisy. I am seriously looking at the new W205 and the new Blackbird when it is out and adding the processor. Also, the W205 supports multicasting on HD Radio, which is the one thing I did not like when I had the DVA-9965 in my last car.
