Default Amp Wire installation

Could someone link or help a tC brotha out. I want to install my sub an amp, but I need the 'routing' that you guys are using (from the battery to the trunk). I hear there is no need to drill the firewall..etc. etc. Just need to know the step of running the gauge wire, I have the head unit installation down. Thanks so much for the help or direction

What gauge wire are you running? That can change the spot a bit.

Personally, here's what I did:

1) Take off the glove box

2) Take out the ECM (ECU) behind where the glove box used to be. It'll be a black box with 4 connectors on it.

3) using a screwdriver, poke a hole in the wire grommet that goes into the engine compartment. Don't do a big hole, just something to allow you to squeeze a wire in it.

4) Using fish tape (clothes hanger works too), fish the wire from the engine bay to the cabin using the hole you poked with the screwdriver.

Sorry I don't have any pics, but it's not a complicated process.

No problem. It took me like 15 mins to get it all done. Very simple and I have not had any leaking problems or anything like that.
