They may have made a different rubber cover, or made modifications to the stock cover, but I doubt actually changing it. That would seem to be too much trouble.

I tried putting on a different handle.... it wouldn't fit (it was slide-over). I stopped trying.

I got some coming in as we speak. We will see how they work out for the tC's Figure why not try since we sell them for other makes and models

i just took the entire rubber handle out and put a aluminum ebrake handle with attached boot.

yup...never claimed otherwise

The **** replacement is a pain. Plenty of wiring. Hardest part is to keep the backlight intact.

no worries man, i did the same thing to mine (stock shift boot with obx ****)

looks awesome
