hey all, i have a 2006 and installed a pac audio swi-x swc adaptor. all the buttons on the steering wheel can be programmed except for the -volume (decrease). anyone have a similar problem? bad unit?

I have it, the only problem I had was when it first got cold out I lost the down track button. It went away by its self ? I only have the volume, track and mute.

I though it was preprogramed to keep all the stock functions.

mine wont even register when programming. you know when you're programming it and first you push the fucntion on the SW the light on the left is supposed to go off then the right light goes on to wait for the remote control function, well it doesnt even do that part. i get nothing. but it was working fine with the stock HU cause i undid the pioneer and plugged it back in to check it. i have an email in to their tech support, lets see what they say i guess... maybe i just got a bad unit

Yea, you got the right one. Go to thier website and just use the direction for the Camry they have. Its the same setup as the tC so you should be all set.

swi-x should work. I have it for my iva-w200. only downside with the swi-xis its ir so u have to put the ir thingy at a good location otherwise they won't work.

It's an ir sensor. Mine is located to the left of the radio. It's basicly a wireless remote.
