usually you just have to drill different holes in the factory bracket to make it sit back farther.. that's what i did with my old screen

X2 on Cartronixplus.com
I love mine!!

Ok I read through 10 pages and found nothing about hooking up a harddrive to the D-3. Can it be done? I figure why spend all that $ on an Ipod and a haddrive is a heck of a lot cheaper and with more space. So can you hookup a harddrive to the Pioneer D-3? How would it be done? Is it slow like the Ipod? Is there any negatives to hooking one up?

Thanks,

Sweet, is that with a harness or just for the unit? I think I might have to take a ride up to RI/MA in a few months .

DIY Ftw. I'd end up half assing it like I did with my sub wiring...had to repair that a good 4 times so far, my power wire still isn't actually connected to the battery, it's just wedged in .

fyi, if someone from best buy were to see your post Dave, you could lose your job... and also, make sure your store has it in stock, if you do it through accommodations (which is a few dollars cheaper) then its a 4-6 week ship time. i got my D3 the same week my store started carrying them so i couldnt buy it there and got it online for about the same price since i didnt want to wait a month for shipping!
