if you are on map mode (a map display) press map again and it should come up with a few options on how to view the map. then select the gauges one (i forgot where it is but it should be a choice). then once there click the actual gauge (only the left and the right one can be changed, the speedo cannot) then you should be able to choose which one you want to be displayed.

kenwoods can do that? lol. iono it just seems odd to me to somehow measure hp from electrical current. im sure its prolly acccurate but i just dont see how tho.

hope this helps

I didn't think it would have any inputs for gauges like A/F and things of that nature. I'll probably only make use of the G-Force meter.

ok so i am looking around everywhere for install help, and there are some websites that offer this harness
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...tab=review#tab

or this one:

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Metra...oductDetail.do

i am assuming you dont NEED it, but it will make the install alot easier and quicker right?

not trying to sound like a d!ck but f*ck ipod lol i got mine when zune first came out for 250 when the ipod equivelant was like 400 p lus im anti-apple lol.

i liked how my old HU double din worked w/ having the 3 inputs for each AV1/AV2 hook up. wish this one would work the same. but ehhh oh wel. thanks for the advice though ( and yes i was trying to be sarcastic at the beginning of my post not trying to sound like an ___, and if it came off that way, sorry, meant as a joke)

well i just got done putting it in and i love it! i do have a couple questions tho:

it seems like i cant turn my speakers up very loud without any distortion, also my sub is alot quieter. I have tried the sub adjusting and stuff like that. Maybe i just need to replace the speakers? Also, i tried to burn the background images onto a cd, but the d3 said it couldnt read the disk...is there something special i need to burn the pics on a cd with?

The bypass works like a charm! :D

go to avic411.com about the background images. that is what i am learning to do right now. there is sub level outputs on your screen in the settings that you can change frequency and volume for it and things like that. and there is also a high pass filter that you can set for your speakers to keep from any distorting bass to them. try those and see if that works

oh theres one on avic that people use thats supposed tobe pretty good. but stay away from ebay ones! i bought one and it totally sucked. it wasnt as sensitive as it is without it, and i had to push harder, not to mention the quality was shoddy (ripped when i took it off). but theres one on avic411 thats pretty popular but i forgot its name
