Default Avic D3 & Pac SWI-PS Problem!

I just installed the Pac SWI PS in my 07 Scion tC and programmed it.

The problem is the "mode" button on my steering wheel is not responding during programing. I have tried to just program the mode button alone and its like its not connected, but all the other buttons work fine.

Help!

Did you leave the SWI-PS disconnected from the radio while programming it? I had a similar issue on a newer Mini Cooper and found out that the W/R line needs to be left unplugged until you program the SWI-PS.

In for possible results. I have a kenwood dnx6140 and could never figure out how to get the mode button working. I finally gave up and just let it go.

I tried to program it with it unplugged from the unit, but it still did not work....

Has anyone else NOT had this problem? Also, i had to purchase my 560 ohm resistor becuz mine was lost, and it is rated at .5 watt, i dont know if that makes a difference or not, but i decided to throw it out there.
