Default Bass Issue???

Since the TC's have so much glass, would it be smart to put two 15" Kicker Solo-Baric 05S15L7 15" 2000 Watt sub's in? Cause I really want them, but I've heard of people blowin out windows and stuff.

Probably not a good idea, my freind had a 2k watt amp with just 12s and blew his window out, it didn't shatter, it just lifted up and fell out (broke the seal)

^^ true that, and it's REALLY hard to shatter windows.... unless you're hitting 150+, you've got nothing to worry about...

It means that your stock electrical system cannot handle the voltage your sound system will require to reach that 2000W. You will need to upgrade the electrical system to supply the proper voltage to the amplifier.

it's not voltage you're looking for, it's amperage... (watts/effeciency)/voltage = amperage

(2000w/.8at best) / 12v = 208amps

stock tC alternator provides like ~100 amps or something (it's a set amount, I just don't know it for sure)

For one entire sheet of glass to lift out first, you'd need to have a PERFECTLY sealed car. Your doors will open slightly before anything.

I know this, because I did have a totally sealed tC once upon a time...it was a mistake.

As for 2kW, you could...until the battery was drained. Less than a minute I'd guess....probably less than 30 seconds

I hate to differ with you but I am going to because I am right.

I am running 2400W RMS/ 4800 Peak on just a kenetik 1800 and I am getting full power. I am hitting about 147 dB with a termlab mic. The stock alternator is 90amps and to my knowledge no one has an aftermarket one. They are still being developed because they are spun in a square not round. Anyway I have been talking to Ohio Generator and they should have one for me by years end.

Please examine the words in bold. They could also read "Not Stock".
