you don't need one, but a 4 channel will take the sound to another level. i think lightning audio is worth looknig into. it's in that price range. good bang for your buck!

i would suggest amping any speaker you buy. if you plan on just using the power of your deck don't waste money on speakers.

i would suggest a decent set of comps and a nice powerful amp.

use the stock speakers and the rear channel on the deck for rear fill if you want any at all. if you have a powerful enough front stage you won't need rears and it will actually sound better that way. i just bought a set of phoenix gold rsd 6.5 comps and a kicker zx550.2 amp and i love it! :-) i can't imagine anything sounding better for the price they are. they should cost 3X what they cost for the way they sound.

those PRs are a decent set

I wouldnt care to much about the unathorized thing being that the set is so cheap
If they mess up or something its not much of a loss

i seriously don't think you can beat the rsd's for the money. i think they are worth way more than they sell for. they sound absolutely amazing!

its not the amount of money that gets what you want. you can make your own set, go active and spend less than 200. on the flip side you can go with an insane 3 way passive set made from rare earth metals and spend 1500. which sounds better is arbitrary but you really do get what you pay for.
