Best Subs and Amps for tC?
I'm looking to buy some Amps and Subs for my tC, but I can't decide the best combo. I'm mainly looking for 2 *12 or 3 12's. I 'm not sure.
Also I can't decide what Brand to get. So far I've seen Kickers Solo Barics and JL's which interest me.
Need some have good suggestions? Also is a box better or getting it molded in the trunk?

Well, ED has AWESOME amps.. I personally think they are one of the best values around atm.
Also, ED components and subs are very nice also. Imho get the 6500s and have the tweeters relocated from the stock position to the corner of the window.
I have some experience with jl. you cant go wrong with JL, but you could get more value for your money.
Now depending on how loud you want to do. i can recommend ED for 16.O for decently loud (ie 145ish) and Crossfire's xt215 for VERY loud (150s).
Ed also has their new SP series, however i seriously doubt this is what yer looking for (i.e. handles 2k+ rms)

suggestively, I'd say get componets up front and amp them, then see how you like it and replace the rears with coaxials if needed.... the tweeters up front are actually tweeters and not 2" speakers like in the xB...

eD all the way. They even sell the mounting brackets
You can talk to them and they will tell you the best stuff to get....not the most expensive stuff they sell......the stuff that will work with what you are looking for.

looks like those earthquakes would get really loud.... but 9/10 subs in that category sound like poo (Kicker solox's for example).... these may be different, just stating the obvious.....and I'm not trying to start an arguement or anything...

i love JL... of course i have the money to spend on it so it works out. I got 3 10" w6v2 subs in the back and they can hit really hard but nice and clear when you want them to. I just got the JL XR series for my car (6.5" coaxils in the back and 5.25" in the front (i ran out of money lol)) and have heard nothing but good things about them.
but if u r tighter on cash and want the best bang (or boom in this case) for your buck, ive heard lotsa good things about eD (elemental designs)

I have 2 subzeros and they are overkill just fun to say i have all this and also kick it up a little bit in a parking lot. But great sound maybe go with magmas or tremors so its not so much overkill but i live by EARTHQUAKE

I have 1- 12'' JL W6v2 ran by a 500/1 JL Amp and it hits really hard and clean.
I payed only 700 for everything including box. I highly recommend JL.
