^^^The Hexagon Subs??? Those are nice and hit very well.... plus the cool factor of them is outstanding.

I've never personally liked many Pioneer products. They made a big name for themselves a while back and are riding it out.
This is only my opinion, but I'm sure there are others that would agree and disagree.

I'm going with the Phoenix Gold Xenon Amps-the 100.4 for my components, and the 600.1 for a CDT ES-SQ 10" sub. I love the fact that the Xenon Amps put out the same power across 1-4 ohms. that way if I ever feel like changing to a diff Sub or anything, it'll still allow me to run 600w rms. not only that, but on the birth sheet, the 100.4 rated 128.5w rms x 4 @ 4ohms (514w rms total). for the 600.1 the performance sheet says it rated 823.15w rms @ 4ohms. my components are taking 120w and 130w rms front and rear, but I couldn't find an amp i liked that would give me between those numbers. I didn't really like the Kicker or Infinity Amps, but the Kicker 650 x 4 gives u 125 w rms @ 4ohms and the Inifnity 7541 does 111w rms x 4. the PG Xenon Amps are also fan cooled and they just look sick. u can't see any of the mounting stuff or screws on the thing by looking at it. They're totally covered up. All the controls are right on the front of the amp, and both the amps are the exact same size, which helped because i wanted everything to look exactly right.

Went to the Audio place and talked with a guy, who suggested Fosgate.
He also told me I don't want to order from the Internet =)

cuz he wants me to buy from him a Pioneer AVIC D1 display model ... for 1499.

I feel ripped off guys. I recently bought 2- 12W3s with a 500/1 amp. I just found out about the Elemental Designs stuff. d

Dammit!!!!! This sucks. I just feel like I could've gotten more for my money. Buyers remorse kicks in.

i'm loving my setup so far-the phoenix gold xenon amps are sweet looking and they seem to pump pretty loud. i have to tweak all the settings at some point this week, but as they stand, they're still pretty good. i'll take some pics tomoro if it's nice out and i'll post them.

I want to get like Alpine Typex or JL w7... but i think these may be overkill for a tC. However I'm not very adept to the Audio scene. I will say i want some good powered subs that will not get muddled when the volume is cranked up. I've heard some crappy subs
that were cheaply done, and I don't want that to happen to me.. but this is the first time i'm putting in a system into one of my own vehicles. Anyways another sub i was looking at were the Punch stage 3 from Rockford Fosgate or the Power stage 1 - Like 2 * 12 worth.

Default Subs

Right now I have 2- 10's Rockford Fosgate P2's in my car and an cheap Sony 1000 watt Amp going to them an it sounds awesome-- but I have a custom fiberglass box made for them there is about 2 cubic feet of air space in the box-- I now have
4- 10inch Atomic Subs and 6.5 Mids in the front and rear. An 3 Atomic amps, 2- 800 watt Amps for the Subs and 1 smaller one for the Mids and it is too loud. I think everything in my car feels like it is going to fall apart on me-- just say the rear view mirror useless.

I think 12's in a tC is too much cause it is a hatchback and it don't matter what you put back there it is going to sound good hitting off the back hatch--

It is up to you what you want it is your car and you have to drive it--

i am running my 13w7 with a 1000.1 and 450.4 is running my two sets of ZR components.. i have also had an alternator built.. 240amp... at 600 bucks...

i personally would go with JL... i have yet to hear much that hits harder and cleaner then JL..

other stuff... focal for sure... but unless your a millionaire... good luck.. bostons... uh... xtant, eclipse, diamond... the really high end RF... the stuff most people have never seen or heard... like the t series subs...

uh... alpine is a good bang for the buck sub.. polk as well..

eD are alright... IMO.... i put a component set in a while back and was not impressed... high end MTX can beat pretty good...

I now have 2 6.5" subs tackling my substage in a 30Hz Ported box and 600 watts.. laugh if you will at having a 6.5" do your sub duty, but don't do it till you hear them...
