For those of you who have done this:
Did you notice a big difference in smoother idling?
Did it fix any headlight dimming issues(if you had any caused by amplifiers)?
What gauge wire did you use?

Can someone tell me how many feet are required for the big 3? Also, can the big 3 be combined with the grounding kit DIY?

This is what ED has listed for their kits, which should work fine:

3 ft. ground to chassis
4 ft. ground to engine block
8 ft. power to alt

I just did this upgrade and there wasn't any real benefit to be noticed. Of course my total system RMS is only around 700 watts. I did gain about .5V at the amp though and put my left over wire to better use then laying in my back seat. Maybe my audio is a little crisper, maybe I idle smoother, maybe my dash lights are brighter, but I sure can't tell the difference. I did the big 3+1 with 4 gauge wire. Went from a stable 13.9V measured at the JL amp to 14.399V stable with the car on.
