Default Black headliner?

I was thinking about changing the headliner from tan to black. Would this be kinda pointless? And how much do you think it would run me?
Only thing i don't know about is the sunroof shades.... don know how im gonna change that to black.

BTW just a plain black cloth. I'm not into the swede or anything.
Thanks!

Your headliner is tan? They have fabric dyes that you can spray on it to simply change the color, and the DIY is pretty easy so the only thing it would run you would be the price of the dye...

Just spray dye it that is what i did on the xB.
And then when the headliner is out you can remove the shades and do the same to them.

GOOGLE is your friend:

You may not buy that exact one, just an example of what you're looking for...

yes i will smell like paint but for only a few days...i sprayed a coat and let i dry for a week then i did the final coat and waited another week then put back in the car and i smelled for a couple more days....but i smoke in the car so i did this to get rid of the smoke stains in the headliner and it has been like 7 months and still looks like it did the day i put it in

but i WOULD SUGGEST to use some type of upulistry(sp) cleaner on the head liner 1st.....after i was done i noticed that there were some spots that were in the headliner form rubbing the dirt out that stayed in there. but when its in the car you realy cant see them....i know where they are and can spot them with no problems but others can

hmmm i think i would rather just buy the same material cloth the factory uses but in black and use adhesive to stick it. Would this work? And where can i get the cloth material?
And i think ill paint the rest of the stuff like the hatch plastic and shades with something.
I would just rather do that IMO
