Why does most everyone keep saying tan?... Did I get a different headliner color since mine is a Spec? Mine is gray, and I thought they all were gray from the factory...

I'm not complaining, because tan would look horrible in my Flint Mica.

Okay what about the plastic pieces. What should i use to paint those? And does anyone know where to get some pics of a tc with full black interior like i want to do. I cant seem to find any
just go to walmart and get some krylon fusion for plastic in the color you want...just sand the peice spray like 3 coats of paint alowing time to dry and the 2 layers of clear.

ya, only cost wouldbe the materials to get it it wrapped ontop of the suede. i talked to someone and cost them 800 to have it done. i dont think headliner would be too bad once got it out of the car and get it to streatch and fit just right, but the pillars might be a pain cuz of the airbags.........

but im half tempted to try this painting int he spring

What does the fabric on the headliner feel like after spraying? Is it still soft? Or does it get crusty or chunky after the dye is applied?

Ive looked around online and heard it gets kinda crusty... Thats another reason why i dont want to dye it.

I did my entire car in black suede. I went to AC moore and bought 6 yards of black MICRO suede. I also bought Head liner glue TM. lol Yea there really is glue called head liner glue. WORKED PERFECTLY. Be careful though because its super sticky and gets all over. i used to cans of glue 19.99 a can. Kinda expensive but worth it. i did not put suede on the door panels because mine are already black. Tip of adive tho. THE HEADLINER IS A PAIN IN THE REAR END!!!!! i have to re-do mine in the spring

there are so many curves in the head liner and the holes for the sun roof are a pain. you have to cut the corners almost perfect if you take a look at mine i messed up and cut to much
