The cubby hole light is size #74.
The parking lights are 194 and they are 12 watt/or volt.

Default #74 bulb

Hi, I was about to order the bulb for the cubby hole from http://superlumination.com/74.htm, and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get the incandescent bulb, or the LED bulb? What is the difference and does anyone have pictures of both so I can compare how the light is distributed?

Thanks!

OMG! That is exactly what I want in my ride! In the eternal words of Paris, "That's Hott!" Oh, does anyone know if the cupholder light can be changed also? And how? It really grates my cheese that they don't offer the red cupholder light on the tC.

what were the bulb numbers for all of those lights? im looking to do the exact same thing in green.
did you replace the trunk light? i took it out and noticed its a smaller size than the one in the rear dome. If you did replace the trunk light, did you get it from superbrightleds too? cuz i think the smallest size they have is for the rear dome only.

nooo! you misunderstand me my friend. Im talking bout the light that turns on when you open the hatch (bottom left). I know the license plate lights are wedge types, and ive replaced them with blue leds. Its a great way to get a ticket.

The #74 cubbyhole led matches perfect with the factory blue led kit!
I also bought 2 of the 6led 194 size bulbs for the parking lights and.... WOW
Here- I took a ton of pics!!!! It was worth $12.13

superbrightleds.com has a 9led wedge type bulb, on the secound page of car leds. I wonder why no one buys that for they're parking lights. Id imagine it to be much brighter.

So while we're on the topics of LED's, I've been toying with the idea of changing my turn signal lights to amber LEDs. Now I know LEDs use very low power, so I'm guessing if I replaced them, they would blink so fast they could give someone an epileptic seisure. So I'm curious as to what type of load I would need on a resister to stop that and if anyone knows where to get them. Any help would be great!

and here are the 3-led varads i use now. they have not "burned" out yet and are still looking great after months of constant use:

nothing needs to be removed, no tools required. way easy. it's the lego car!
Where exactly?

why do people prefer the 6-led wedge bulb, for the parking lights, instead of the 9-led one?

well, the bulbs that go in that spot are the 168/194 bulbs. the 6-led's are smaller and are labeled as 168/194 replacements, so people buy those.

the 9-led's are 921 bulbs and are larger and not everyone knows that they will fit. however, as i said before, they aren't very reliable.
