Can my Tomtom charger be connected to the fuse box?
Im running my Tomtoms car charger down the pillar between the windshield and drivers side window...how can i plug in or splice my wires in? can it be spliced into the fuse box or is there some easy way of doing this?

i use to think like that, but the people at scionlife and onzium kept telling me its hella easy; and I wasn't the type to have someone hold my hand through everything
a t-tap is probably the greatest thing invented for wiring; it looks like this
you can find out how to t-tap a radar detector to your domelight wires in the DIY here (which is similar to what you are trying to do with your cig lighter):

ALSO, t-taps at radioshack are around $3

I did this with my garmin and it came out great. I used an Add-a-Circut that you can get from just about any autoparts store. It lets you tap a fuse and create a new circut for a real clean installation. I used the cig lighter fuse so when I turn on my car my garmin automatically turns on.
