i think your best option is to get an aftermarket alarm with that feature.

what is this "drive" setting you speak of??

lol, i have a manual, just teasing.. I dont know how to do it beause it seems like a hassle for something that can be controlled with your left hand without much difficulty but there are definitely ways to do it. Try readin up on google and I'm sure you'll find a way to do it. You probably have to tap into some wires and run some relays or seomthing...

oh well, best of luck with it..

You are aware the tc's doors open from the inside whether it is locked or not right?

I understand that, but I was curious if Scion had a way to do it before I go aftermarket.

If they are going to jack your car at a stopped light they are going to jack it...
They can just as easily break your window and grab then open it....

or threaten to shoot you with a gun thru your window...

either way... you're screwed and there's no point.

actually, i'm still partial to that flamethrower security that some countries have...

unfortunately that's probably something that won't ever be allowed in the states for such a purpose.. :?

anywhere in the US with a population of 500,000 plus you can get jacked at stoplights..

and even some towns with 200 or less..

depends on the neighborhood.

in a town of 200 people wouldnt you know everyone and then knew who jacked it? you could just go to their house and wait for them and stomp their face
