Default Cig lighter outlet doesnt work... ideas?

Bought a cell phone charger from ebay and I think it might be the culprit for causing the outlet to fail..

any ideas on how to fix the problem? Simple fuse?

Thanks!

check out the 7.5 fuse under the left side of the steering wheel, that might be the problem, just a shorted fuse, i've blown it a couple times when I did my under the dash lights. GL.

Actually, there are three power outlet/cig lighter fuses...

(This is from the '06 owner's manual...)

The fuse to replace is the #15 not the 7.5 as listed in the other reply. I had the same problem using a cell phone charger with the cig lighter/power outlet inside the armrest and had to replace the fuse. The 15 is right below the 7.5. The fuse chart is a little tough to read.

^^ because you were using the "power outlet" (located inside the armrest..) vs the "cig" lighter.

Default Blown Fuses

Did you get this issue fixed? The 15A fuses keep getting blown. I can't connect anything to the Cig lighter nor the Acc adpater below the arm rest.

Thx

Are you tapping anything else off of this circuit?

Not that I know of. I purchased a used '06. I don't have any additional accesories than those factory-installed. Is there a test I can do to find out, or do you think I should try warranty? I'm a little weary of letting them play around with the wiring.

Thanks!!
