Default Cleaning sparco seats

I recently purchased a used set of sparco Torino II seats and wanted to clean them up before they went in the car. I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to clean them.

I have used steam cleaners before on my car upholstery but am somewhat nervous to use it on these seats as the fabric seems more delicate.

try the side facing the center console first and let it dry before you try other areas. Just go slow and be careful in heavy wear areas, should be fine!

Nope, I do Insurance. What is wrong with me recommending the PROPER way to clean a car? You guys recommend exhausts, wheels, body kits and crap all the time - DO YOU WORK FOR THEM??

Maybe if people would SEARCH , I wouldnt have to type the same thing over. I am trying to help the guy here, and your being non-helpful. What was the point of your post again?

I used the rug doctor and it came out good.

I did notice that one or two of the plastic covers under the tilts wheel on the seats were somewhat messed up. Does anyone know where i can get replacements for these?

awesome rich, glad it worked out for you man!! post up some pics of your seats! did the plastic cover(s) come off? Because they could have a part number stamped on them - if thats the case call up your local dealership and the parts department will look them up for you. Also if your in Baltimore, try JE import performance for parts, ask for either James, Nick or Sean. they are right on pulaski hwy. I went to school with all those guys, good bunch.

Unfortunately, I didn't get them in the car. I cheaped out and bought weapon-r brackets and while puting the brackets on realized that one of the pre-drilled holes was about a 1/4 inch off where it was supposed to be. I was thinking about modifying it, but I figured I'd call them first and see what they have to say.

The plastic pieces do come off. I don't remember seeing a part number on this inside, but I'll check tonight when I get home. I sent a email to sparco a few nights ago, so we'll see if I hear back from them. I'll also give that performance shop a call and see if they might know.

I talked to weapon r and they will be sending me another bracket, once I send them a pic of how it's off.

Will take some pics tonight of the seat tonight (not in the car unfortunately).

So I sent weaponr pictures of how the measurement were off on the brackets I have and it turn out every bracket in their inventory has the same measurements as mine. I can't believe they get away with selling a bolt on product that doesn't fit. With some modification I did get them to work.

Here is a pic of them in the car.
