Default Clock Resets on its own

OK..... I've searched but cannot find any relevant topic. My HVAC recently adopted the habit of reseting on its own. It does this only when the car is off and I am away. The occurrence is random (sometimes it resets and other times it does not). Off course, I know this because my clock reset back to 12:00 and began to run again. When I'm back to my car, I will notice the time is at the hour and minute from its initial reset.

Anyone with this problem? I figured that my battery reset, but it cannot be. One of the tC's mechanisms is that it beeps when you're driving without your seat belt on. Well, I disable that mechanism. Whenever I refresh the battery connection, that mechanism is re-instituted. Since my tC does not beep when I drive w/o seat belt, my logic is that my battery connection was never refreshed. Any other idea? This is a nuisance since I rely on that clock all the time.

Thanks

Check the harness that plugs into the hvac for a loose connection and/or loose wires?

maybe a ground wire. Im not entirely sure i though. because if you even unplug the connector in the back it resets. so possibly loose connection. If you have a ledswap on the hvac idk if that would have anything to possibly do with it
