Cubby light

I disagree... Pull out the screw in the carpet on the passenger side of the HVAC. Peel the carpet back carefully, and you can reach behind the cubby and pull it out. Then just pull out the bulb, insert the new one in the socket, and replace it back in the cubby. Put back the carpet and down.

i pulled mine out through the hvac. pull up on all the pieces stuck my hand back there and turned the wire that connected it and it came out pretty simply. it had a little orange cover over it, took it off and waalah it was white.

I did the passenger side and I did the HVAC. I prefer the HVAC. Remove the piece around the shifter and then remove the HVAC section. You will have a clear line of sight on everything then.
But either way works.

ehh.. considering how many times i've done it.. removing the waterfall only adds 10 more seconds to the job
and another 10 to put it back in..
so... 20 extra seconds saved by me just going from behind thru the passenger area.. which i find to be faster..
by sure... 20 seconds.. oh joy... at least for me..
then again i'm sure it takes longer than 10 seconds for other people to remove their waterfall..
so... whatever works for whoever.. merely stating you don't have to remove it to get to the bulb.
and another 10 to put it back in..
