This may sound dumb, but when you place the tire cover on top of the sub, doesnt that sub hit hard enough to make it bounce? I thought about putting a sub down there, but then realized that bouncing cover might get annoying? If it doesnt bounce and this is dumb, im sorry.

Definitely looks nice though dude.

JL has a setup that goes ontop of the tire ...i hear its major expensive but you should look for it and get some ideas. ....but the tire gets screwed down so it shouldnt move at all.

The particle board has wood glue and Caulk as a sealant and i placed some stuff used for airduct sealant (tapelike) between the plexi-glass and the particle board.... Seals it nice and tight.....

This is actually NOT a dumb question! AND YES it does....... what I did was I had to actually remove part of the tire cover and custome cut it, so that the sub has all the room to move and is exposed, I also had the problem of the box bouncing off the floor of the car, I put some foam tape on the bottom of the box and secured it down with L brackets to the body.....

This is what my trunk looks like now:

Whoa, lol that is crazy. I don't want to cut the tire cover thing, in case I sell it. I think I am gonna make a custom fiberglass box that sits behind the fenders of the tire in the trunk. What Im trying to do is make it so that I still have a trunk, and can keep all the original equipment and stuff.

I dont know if you have ever heard of the stealth box or not, but it seems really practical. The only problem I see with it is that it limits the amount the back seats can recline. Check it out here, if you havent already...

Oh yeah, the other problem is that it costs $650.

the jl isnt really a stealth box it raises your trunk bottom like 2 or 3 inches lets say you need to put idk golf clubs or somthing like that well there not goin to fit if you lose thos 2 inches just go with the ed stuff by there loaded box for 200bucks get a nice amp a 15buck cover for the sub and call it done oh and as far as it hittin the cover some1 on here put some wood under the cover and cut out holes for the sub might want to search it
