Default Custom Sun Shade for the tC?

Is Scion going to produce a custom sun shade/visor for the tC? I know some people would just buy any sun shade from an auto parts store,
but when a sun shade is made through the dealer, it usually custom fits the car perfectly. I talked to the people at my dealership, but they were all clueless.

I think he means one of those fold up sun shade things you stick in the front window.

I would hope that one from the dealership would fit perfectly.
I dont really know much about them...never used one. Cant you make your own?

I have a custom one. I bought it from Protrim Inc on eBay. It was under $35 shipped and is custom made for the tC. You can check out their auctions on eBay, but I don't see a tC shade listed at the moment. You might be able to contact them directly.
The shade is a Mylar coated bubble wrap-like material which rolls up for storage and should last a long time. (Keep in mind the shades are custom fit for the car, even though they show the same shade in most of their auctions.)

Default Just do a Search..

Just do a Search on Google.I don't think Scion offers OEM sun shade.
Mine was custom made by a company off the Net.
Most will also sell Dashmat which I also have but doesn't fit as well as I would like it to.

Ordered the custom-made one from Protrim on eBay. Fits like a glove (obviously).

how did you mount it? in other words, how does it attach and stay in place? is it that much of a tight fit that you dont need anything to hold it up? some of the cheaper ones need suction cups to hold them up.

It helps to put the visors down to help hold top up. Don't forget to close the sunroof shades too.

You barely need anything to hold it in, it does fit that tightly (exactly the same size as the windshield.) I usually just put my sun visors down over it.

I bought mine from Walmart, I went back 3 times and ended up buying one for an SUV.

It's a bit wider then my car but for $5 you can't go wrong.
