gicode0823, please just go to a shop, it clearly looks like you are not up to this. And having no experience in this matter isn't helping your case. We're trying to help you, but its not working out. Ask the shop if y u can watch so you know how to do it next time.

So, to cover all that you will need if you are wiring only a sub to the stock headunit:

A line-out converter, to give yourself an RCA output. I highly recommend the one Alpman makes at www.yoursciontc.com.

An RCA cable, obviously. I recommend not skimping here, as I did and bought cheap Rockford cables for my components and coaxials. I now have minor hissing in my system when it's not crankin' music out.

12-18AWG remote wire, to turn on your amp when the stereo comes on. The harness, that Alpman above sells, comes with a remote turn-on lead.

Power wire. I highly recommend 4AWG for applications less or equal to 1000watts RMS.

A fuse and fuse holder. If you are getting 4AWG power wire, I recommend a 150amp fuse. Make sure that the fuse holder is within 6-18" of battery.

Ring terminals for 4AWG. You'll need them to ground your amp to a chassis bolt, and connect power to the positive terminal of the battery.

Depending on your amp, you'll want to pick up 4AWG spade connectors too. My Rockford amp didn't need them, but my Nine.2x did.

12AWG or greater speaker wire. Again, I would get a decent size wire for any sub, and not skimp here. Component speakers will be ok with 14-16AWG.

I highly, highly recommend sound deadening as well. In my opinion, I could not tell a difference with only new speakers in, but once I got my 12" in, I could instantly tell how much sound it kept from getting out, and stopped the sound from being lost to vibrations. Mind you, this car still rattles like a biatch.

I did mine myslef with some help from a friend.....very easy to install.....the nice thing about installing a system in the tc was everything just snaps on and off.....if you have knowledge of knowing how to wire amps then I say go for it....just need to buy a harness for the head unit.
