I have seen a HUD unit that displays on the windshield, but about it... Definitely not a plug and play unit, but it's been done...

you could always get a ScanGuage

thats plug n play, and you get a crapload of other perameters

the only downside is the fastest refresh rate is 2 seconds so it wouldnt be the most accurate option

errr.. i don't have any problems with using a scangauge for speed..

a little laggy.. but 2 seconds for a refresh?? that's a little exaggerating wouldn't it?? :eyebow:

more like 0.2 seconds...

lol dude I didnt make that up, that actually is the SG's fastest refresh rate, look at your SG owners manual

and to buy one, just order directly from SG's site: http://www.scangauge.com/

he's talking about the speedometer...

the refresh rate on the gas mileage... i.e.. the MPG.. etc... is about every 2 seconds.. a little less here and there... mostly from calculations..

Every parameter can only refresh at a max of 2 seconds, that is simply a limitation of OBDII tools. Go for a drive and count the time it takes for the indicated speed to change each time.
