^ Fujita - CF pieces already attached? You want, gauges, door handles, center bezel, steering wheel controls, etc. all painted?

As of right now I have the paint booth reserved Monday and Tuesday next week. Got 2 interiors to do, 3 sets of tail lights...next month or September my car is going in the booth to get a little something added to the paint.

If you thought there was a lot of fumes from rattlecan....you are mistaken. Took my mask off to touch up one spot today and well..... Thank God for respirators.

noob question here but how do you get the steering wheel control part off to repaint it?
I plan on changing the led's while i'm at it

theres two star shaped screws you gotta get loose, then take off the horn (dont worry, air bag WONT depoy) and then you have two regular screws to take off the control pieces.

^ Really depends on what you want done (two tone, metal flake, graphics, etc.). By rattlecan about half day. By paintgun (the only way I do all my painting now) about 1.5 - 3 hours.

Hey guys

I was painting my waterfall console and accidentally a lil bit of the paint got onto my temp control **** because the painters tape apparently had a small slit in it. So now there are tiny specks of black paint on it...

What can I do to remove that little bit of paint?
Worst comes to worst I'll just paint the gauge as well then...

^You can use a small amount of lacquer thinner and rub it off. Don't use too much or else the silver stock pieces will peel right off exposing a chrome/brushed aluminum base underneath.
