where? doesnt look at all wavy to me. sorry i just dont see it.

that picture, by looking at the thread reflection, its not a smooth straight line but its wavy. its not extreme but noticable. if it was smooth the lines would be parallel. but hey, its hard to wrap something of that size without wasting alot time on it.

gotcha. keep in mind jay jay noted that his dash was worked on faster then it would usually take in order to be finished for a car show that they were attending.

yup they rushed it a bit on this one to make it to show.. but since they worked on mine the future dashes should be better... no matter what it looks awesome.

So is the passenger side airbag deadly with the CF over it?

very true thats why this piece is designed for show purposes only at the momment... such as those other vehicles with fiberglass dashes etc..

An airbag hitting you is not a fun experience. I see the pieces above the factory airbag just blowing to pieces and the only issue you have there is the pieces getting in your eyes/mouth. Besides the fact that if your Airbags deployed the dash isnt the only thing you need to worry about.

I would be worried in a daily driven car. A show car is a different story

but you gotta think. who would actually switch out dashes constantly. and what do you do? you're driving home from the show and you carry the dash in your trunk? lol..

i have no clue what i'm talking about. going off in random tangents now. unless of course you trailer the car.

Hello Peeps..

The dashboard we overlaid for Jay Jay was done in 1 week. It was a bit rushed so we could make it for the Simi Valley show, now as for the weaves, you go ahead and see C-West carbon fiber, VIS, and so and so... you will allways see weaves in the carbon... and more when the CF is 6oz. It is very hard if not imposible to get 12oz CF. but this is for you to see what we offer.

On the other hand you must understand all pieces produced by Firmware are for show purpose and -offroad only.

I have been thinking about a way to make the passenger airbag work. if you dont mind having a "H" shape black mark so there is no CF and a thin layer of resin. I will make some test and let you know. But I wouldnt guarantee that it 100%.

If you guys have any suggestions, we are all ears!

Mike.
