Default foam sound deadening

I'm thinking of buying some foam from like Home Depot and filling all of the empty spaces behind my rear quarter panels and in the trunk. Would this have any significant reduction in road noise?

thats where i notice the most road noise. especially when it rains, i can hear nothing but the water coming off the tires and hitting the inside of the fender wells. i'm starting on my doors tomorrow then that section in the back will be the next section i deaden.

are you talking like the expanding foam or like the insulation? i can see both helping but expanding foam will help much more i believe

x2 on expanding foam. you'll probably also want to get some edead v4 or overkill to get the rest of the noise.

exactly you're really better off deadening the whole car first and seeing how u like it. then expand foam if it you feel it is necessary
