i post mine high b/c the laws of physics apply. my radar detector cant see through the bumper/trunk of the car in front of me! how ever an active radar can fix that anyway.

Ok I Really need to now how to hardwire my valentine one to the driver side fuse box, without tapping any other wires but instead straight to the fuse box. How do i do that?

with a mini fuse tap that u can buy from an auto supplies store

Also, i can just stick the mini fuse into that driver side fuse box and im set? which plug is it?

I would recomend tapping into the 'STOP' fuse... i think it is 10 amp fuse (red colored). Just tap into that one... put back the 10 amp fuse and add another 10 or 5 amp fuse for the radar detector.... if it needs more draw, the fuse will blow and just replace it with 15.... 20.. etc. But I doubt you would need to. And like someone mentioned earlier you should add an inline glass fuse just to be safe.
