headlight wiring harness...
so i thought my bulbs blew.. but they didn't... so i checked into it a little further... i noticed that it the connection shows a blue residue... looks like powder... i couldn't get into it with something to clean it... so i air hosed it... lights turned on.. but the harness heats up...
if i had condensation in that head light... is it possible for that blue stuff to show up in the connections you think?

It sounds like a simple electrical problem. You didn't have a great connection to begin with, and it started to corrode. That's where the blue and or white powder came from. Now, because it corroded, there is increases resistance in the circuit, so the wire heats up. Simple as that. That's the problem. Here is the cure. Clean it really well with a wire brush. Make sure you get it all off. You can use an anticorrosive if you want. Good luck.
