Default help with the dome lights..

ok so i switched out my front dome lights and i had to take out the entire thing cause i pushed the lights in. now the front gray part wont go back in. ive tried pushing it in all different ways but they just wont click. any ideas?

I had the same problem earlier this week.
I didn't realize that the bulb simply pulls out. I thought it had to turn, so I accidentally ended up pushing the whole socket in.

I took out the whole fixture, then situated the socket right, then put the bulb in socket, then pushed whole fixture back up into its place.

yank down..

anyway, there are 3 white body panel plugs that pop the dome light assembly in.. i can imagine you yanking it down.. having one still stuck in the body and when trying to put the assembly back in.. it's gonna cause it to not attach right.

yank the whole thing down again... and inspect.
