Default High Output Alternator found

Anybody looking for a High Output alt for an 07 tC? I finally found where to get them at now. If you have a tC that is older than 07, finding an alt is easier, but here is the info-

180A max, 110A at idle, Direct replacement
Excessive Amperage
Price - ~$440~

300A max, idle, dont know but well above 110, Direct Replacement
Iraggi Alternator
Price - ~$570

The 300A i know for sure is internally regulated. Any replaced alt that is NOT internally regulated from what i have been told will trip the check engine light as the ECU regulates the alt in terms of it's current voltage to it even being on to conserve on gas mileage.

Any more info, ask those companies

I used to compete in car audio competition and know a lot of companies that deal in that field.

Iraggi alternator
1-615-287-7991
La Vergne, TN

It is implied that he will be shipping you the alt so you don't have to go pick it up.

He may sell more than one but the biggest he told me that he sold for an 07 tC is 300A max and 140-150A at idle.

Idle output is obtained at 2400 RPM alt speed and max output at 6000 RPM alt speed.
If you have a 3:1 ratio, idle output would be obtained at 800 RPM and peak at 2000 RPM.

However, my tC idles at 600 rpm so I will be using a 4:1 ratio so I can have up to 150A of alt power just sitting there.

I have not ordered mine yet but a word of warning of something I have noticed from pics online---

The TRD tC Supercharger's pulley rests right above the stock alt and only a few inches above it. Now this is not confirmed but this is a warning that an alt this large must be put into a larger case and may or may nor allow the installation of the TRD Supercharger.

good warning. and ill deff look into it.

do they making something with less amp output? the stock is 100a, and i dont need 300a, but something around 160-200 would probably be good

Default Hi

I'm a newbie on here. But I am searching for a higher output alternator. I was told on another site to check out the IRAGGI alternators and my search brought me here.

I'm looking for something 200 amps or more. I have an 05 gen 1 xb.
